Enclosed Mini Humbucker White

I have a cheapo Squier Bronco bass with a covered Strat-sized single coil in it, used purely for recording. I wanted to get rid of the hum on recordings caused by (accidentally) standing too close to the machine. So after a spot of advice from Ben (thanks!) I fitted this covered rails-type Strat-sized humbucker, which looks like the original. It may not be intended for bass but it''s giving me a lot more volume and makes NO noise! Also, on the original pickup I had to adjust the height quite dramatically to favour the low ''E'' but the SHE-1WT doesn''t need such a large adjustment. I know this is an unusual application, but I see pople on forums recommending Hot/Cool Rails from the big US names - costing almost as much as the £95 Bronco! Forget them - try his pickup. Original looks, great sound with no hum, good price - if you''ve got a Bronco it''ll make a huge difference! And I must mention the usual great service and incredibly quick delivery from WD. Ordered in the afternoon, came the next morning! Thanks a lot, chaps!
