Simply drop it into the trem hole in the bridge and then screw the arm into place. The spring creates extra tension and stops the arm from becoming loose.

I put one of these in a Gotoh strat bridge where the arm was too loose, worked a treat, sometimes it makes a slight squeek when you move the arm but it''s barely noticable, keeps the arm in place nicely.
