Necks

Necks

All of our replacement Fender necks have the trussrod already installed. Before placing your order please take note of the important information provided on each product page such as the width of the nut slot and the measurements of where the neck heel joins the body.

Fender necks - All of our Fender Strat necks, Tele replacement necks, Jazz Bass and Precision Bass necks have fingerboards that are pre-fretted (with the exception of the Ebony Bass Fretless, of course!) and with the trussrod already installed. Before placing your order, we advise taking note of the important information provided on each product page, such as the width of the nut slot and the measurements of where the neck heel joins the body. Also, careful consideration must be taken when thinking about the guitar tuners being fitted as sometimes not all models or brands will fit. We provide the diameter of the headstock tuner holes to help you identify the correct tuners for the neck. If you are unsure in anyway, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to help.

All necks should be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modification as the neck is rendered non-returnable once altered. All wood is considered unique with individual growth patterns. Some necks may have minor grain variations due to the organic nature of wood. These are not seconds or "blems ". Please contact customer service if you have any questions or concerns about your neck when it arrives. WD cannot guarantee exact neck pocket fit due to varying manufacturer tolerances, wood shrinkage or expansion over time etc. Some neck pocket modification may be required.

WD Music Products recommends that if you are not familiar with the proper steps to replace a guitar or bass neck that you should contact a professional for assistance. All of our necks will require a fret level, crowning and polish to reduce fret buzz and improve playability. This is not considered a defect of the product. We recommend that a qualified guitar luthier carry the work out for you if you are unsure about fret dressing the neck yourself as it can be a time consuming process which requires knowledge and skill.
