This compensating tailpiece combines a stop tailpiece and bridge in one unit. Strings pass through the front of the bridge and over the compensated saddle. Comes with body inserts and height adjusted posts. Chrome.

	Bought this to replace damaged one on my PRS Singlecut, so this review has to be based on that. It works OK, intonation is pretty good, so I was pleased with that. There are a couple of caveats: 1-Strings break quite easily where they pass over the bridge (quite an edge!). 2-It is not quite deep enough, so when you pull the string through it is sharply bent very close to, or at, the winding by the ball-end. This causes strings to fray and weaken at this binding. I would prefer a deeper, more rounded back for the strings to go round, plus I would like the raised compensator 'ridges' to have sloped backs, so strings are not bent over sharp corners. I gig a lot and I am breaking more strings with this than with the original, so I see it as a temporary fix rather than a proper replacement. Hope this helps!	Mike Fowler 17/12/10 at 06:48 PM
