Earvana ESP Acoustic Nut

The Earvana ESP Nut is a 42mm Acoustic Nut - Fits ESP Guitars, Schecter, Gibson and others. 12-13 inch radius. You remove your old guitar nut and replace it with the Earvana Compensated nut for heavenly intonation of your guitar. It is recommended that a Guitar Luthier fit this nut to your guitar. So how does it work?

The problem - On any guitar equipped with a standard nut, all strings are given equal break-off points, regardless of tension or mass. Without compensation, notes inherently play too sharply. Have you ever tuned your guitar to find that an E chord sounds in tune but the D chord sounds slightly out? ,

The solution - The Earvana Compensated Tuning System is scientifically designed to correct these inherent flaws. By creating unique break-off points at the nut and bridge, the Earvana nut compensates each string for differences in mass, pitch and tension.
